MARGARET P. BELTON
Margaret P. Belton, 70, of 412 Hamilton Dr., died Friday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory. Interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park North.
Mrs. Belton was born in Rockingham on April 30, 1933, to the late George Pemberton Sr. and Lillie Miller Pemberton.
She is survived by a special son, William Wall of Rockingham; three daughters, Vickey Wilson and Tracey Belton of the home and Andrea Simmons and husband David of Georgia; and their father, Thomas Belton Jr. of Goldsboro; one brother, Thomas Pemberton and wife Roethel of High Point; three grandchildren, Michelle Wilson, Margita Wilson and David Simmons Jr.; four great-grandchildren; two special nieces, Lillie Thomas and Kate Smith of Rochester, N.Y.; five sisters-in-law, Doris Ayars and Barbara Pratt of Brooklyn, N.Y., Minnie Lee Pemberton of Rockingham, Lula Pemberton and Bernice Pemberton of High Point; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The viewing will be held on Monday from 4 until 7 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
