A vehicle crash led to the death of a teenager from LaGrange last week.
Rylee Miller, 15, of LaGrange, was a passenger in a tow truck driven by 17-year-old.
The crash happened on Friday just before noon when the driver ran off the road and over corrected while traveling south along N.C. 11.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle after it flipped over multiple times.
He was transported Vidant Medical Center. Miller was pronounced dead after the fatal wreck.
Neither teen was wearing a seat belt, said Jessica Pope, administrative specialist with the North Carolina Highway Patrol.
The crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
