Man drives car into house during medical emergency

A man traveling on Slocumb Street lost control of his car while having a medical emergency Monday afternoon and hit a house.
According to the Goldsboro Police Department, Ksean Shearod, 27, of Goldsboro, was driving north on Slocumb Street when he began having a medical emergency. He lost control of his car, driving off of the roadway to the left, south of Hamilton Road.
Shearod continued through two yards, hitting several bushes, and came to a rest when he hit the brick wall of a carport and parked truck at 1309 Slocumb St. One car parked in the driveway was also damaged from flying brick.
Two people were inside the home and one was walking inside at the time of the incident. Neither were injured as a result of the wreck.
Shearod was taken to Wayne UNC Health Care to be treated. The injuries he sustained from the wreck were non life-threatening.
