Armed robbery suspect charged

Goldsboro Police have made an arrest in last week's robbery of Hi-5 Vapor located at 565 E. New Hope Road.
Jason Gregory Brown, 30, of McNeill Lane in Goldsboro is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Last Tuesday morning, Goldsboro Police responded to a robbery in the New Hope Plaza shopping center. The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money.
At the time of his arrest Brown was in the New Hanover County Detention Center on charges of possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and resisting a public officer.
His bond for charges from both counties combined is set at $4,500,000 secured.
