Police cordon off the scene of a shooting that left one person injured.

Goldsboro police are investigating a Friday morning shooting in the 900 block of Hugh Street that left one person injured.
Police searched an area around the apartments, and a car parked down the street from the area being searched was being processed for evidence as well.
An evidence marker was near the curb just behind the right rear tire.
Residents stood in their yards and porches watching the scene.
Several people reportedly fled from the scene and were chased by police.
One man walking by called to a resident and asked if she knew the victim. The woman yelled back that she knew the victim and his mother.
Another woman came racing up asking where her son was at and was told he was at school.
Hugh Street is located between Slocumb and Slaughter streets.
It is the second shooting in as many days in the city.
The first shooting Thursday in the 1700 block of east Holly Street injured a juvenile.
