N.C. Arts Council accepting grant applications

The North Carolina Arts Council is taking grant applications for 2018.
Grants are given to enhance arts program in all 100 North Carolina counties, enhance the education of children and youths and ensure that all North Carolinians have access to a wide range of high quality arts programs.
There are two new grant categories this year. Military and veterans healing arts grants will provide funding for art projects that serve the state's military personnel, veterans and their families. Rural touring and outreach grants will expand or support art programming in rural areas. This grant is available to organizations that are currently funded in the State Arts Resources category.
Eligibility requirements include having nonprofit status, producing quality art programs for at least two consecutive years and having prior year organization cash operating expenses of at least $20,000.
