An 18-year-old was arrested for possession of methamphetamine after a traffic stop Wednesday on Park Avenue.
Regan Alexandra Modica, 18, of 859 Parkstown Road, LaGrange, was stopped by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team.
A search of the vehicle yielded a half a gram of methamphetamine and Modica was charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Maj. Tom Effler with the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said Modica was likely stopped for a traffic violation, and her vehicle was searched after deputies either established probable cause or obtained consent from Modica.
Modica was given a custody release bond.
