On Jan. 10, Kelvin Cox reported that while walking in the 900 block of Carver Drive at approximately midnight. when he heard footsteps approaching from behind him, as he turned around he was struck in the back of the head with a wooden stick. The black male suspect demanded money, he gave the suspect cash from his pocket and the suspect fled from the scene.
On Jan. 11, Sharif Jones reported he was in the 900 block of South Audubon Avenue at approximately midnight when two black males approached him while he was at his vehicle, demanding his money and his car keys. One suspect hit him with a stick. Jones ran from the scene without giving the suspects any items.
