State offices to close Monday

All state and federal offices, banks and post offices will be closed on Monday in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
Goldsboro's city offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 18, for the observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. City Hall will reopen on Tuesday at 8 a.m.
All city sanitation services scheduled for Monday will be moved to Wednesday.
Bus service provided through the Goldsboro-Wayne Transportation Authority will still operate on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, but regular routes will begin at 9:30 a.m. The last bus will leave the GWTA transfer center at 5:30 p.m.
All Mount Olive town offices will be closed on Monday in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, also. Offices plan to reopen on Tuesday at 8 a.m.
Mount Olive's recyclable center will also be closed Monday and will reopen on Wednesday at 8 a.m.
Yard waste pick up in Mount Olive will be delayed by one day -- Monday's route will be moved to Tuesday, and Tuesday's route will be moved to Wednesday.
Household garbage pick up will not be affected.
Should any Mount Resident have a water or sewer emergency, call 919-658-5031, select option 2 and the call will be connected with dispatch.
Fremont Town Hall will be closed on Monday in observance of the holiday, and sanitation services will also be stopped for the day. Trash pickup and other sanitation services will resume as normal on Tuesday.
Pikeville Town Hall will not be closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and will operate on a normal schedule.
