On Dec. 4, an employee of the BP Kangaroo at 515 East New Hope Road reported that at approximately 2 a.m. a white male, approximately 6-feet-2, wearing a mask, a gray hoodie and blue jeans attempted to rob the store by pointing a pistol at her and demanding money. The employee was unable to meet the suspects demands and the suspect fled the area heading east. Anyone with information about this suspect is asked to call Inv. Anderson at 919-580-4214.
