School bus involved in morning collision

Goldsboro police respond to a collision between a gray Chevrolet Malibu and Wayne County Public Schools bus number 400, which resulted in a blocked off a section of East Ash Street for roughly an hour this morning. The wreck happened just before 9 a.m. at the intersection of the 1200 block of East Ash Street and the 300 block of Audubon Avenue. Officers on the scene with the Goldsboro Police Department said they were not certain on the full details of the wreck or which driver caused the collision. GPD officers also said no names were available for those involved in the wreck. No students were on the bus at the time of the incident.
