Vacancies on boards, commissions

Goldsboro's city government has multiple vacancies on 10 of its boards and commissions, and is actively seeking applicants for the total 40 positions that are either already or are becoming vacant this year.
There are seven vacancies on the Goldsboro Appearance Commission, the members of which serve four-year terms. The panel has not met since 2013 due to lack of attendance preventing the commission from reaching a quorum. There are currently only three active members.
Goldsboro's Community Affairs Commission has five vacancies, and the members of the commission are appointed to serve two-year terms. Four of the members are eligible for reappointment.
The Advisory Commission on Community Development has four vacancies for positions that serve three-year terms, and no applications for the positions have been received.
There is one vacancy on the Local Firemen's Relief Fund and Supplementary Pension Fund board, the members of which serve two-tear terms.
Goldsboro Municipal Golf Course's board has three vacancies for two-, three- and four-year staggered terms. There have been no applications received.
The city's Historic District Commission has two vacancies for alternate member positions. Members serve four-year terms.
Goldsboro's Parks and Recreation Commission has three vacancies for three-year term positions, two of which are normal vacancies and one of which is a vacant student position.
The Mayor's Committee for Persons with Disabilities has 13 vacancies, with six members eligible for reappointment. Members of the committee serve four-year terms. No applications have been received for the vacant positions.
The Goldsboro Planning Commission has two vacancies for positions that serve five-year terms. No applications have been received to date for the empty positions.
The Travel and Tourism Advisory Council has two vacancies for positions that serve three-year terms. No applications have been received for the vacant positions.
