A man dressed in all black and wearing a white mask held a clerk at gunpoint and then took the money from the cash register at the Family Dollar on South George Street, Tuesday, according to a Goldsboro police report.
So far, police have not developed a suspect.
"Not yet," Maj. Anthony Carmon said.
The robbery took place a few minutes before 7 p.m., the report said. A black man dressed to disguise his identity pointed a black handgun at the 24-year-old clerk and told her not to say a word or he would shoot her, according to the report.
He then walked out of the store and headed east on foot.
The suspect is described as 5 feet, 2 inches tall and slim, weighing approximately 110 pounds.
