On Sunday, Sept. 13 at approximately 4:20 a.m. the Goldsboro Police Department responded to the 800 block of Crawford Street regarding a subject being shot. Once on scene, officers discovered Marcus Montrell McLean, 29, had been shot. McLean was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital by ambulance and was pronounced deceased shortly thereafter. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call investigator Van Lenten at 919-580-4218. Callers will remain anonymous and if your information leads to a felony arrest you will be given a cash reward for the information.
