School bus overturns

A Wayne County school bus is seen on its side after an accident this morning on Shady Grove Road in Mount Olive.
The driver of a Wayne County Public Schools bus suffered minor injuries when the bus overturned following a wreck this morning along Shady Grove Road in Mount Olive.
One student -- from Southern Wayne High School -- was on the bus at the time of the incident. The student was not injured.
According to the N.C. State Highway Patrol, the bus went of the road and into the ditch, turning over on its side. Smith Chapel Volunteer Fire Department and Wayne County EMS responded.
Trooper Benny Grady said early morning fog contributed to the wreck.
