Lester Clinton Jr.
Just two days after publicly naming him the second suspect in an October murder, Goldsboro police arrested Lester Clinton Jr., 29, at 5:15 p.m. Sunday.
Clinton, accompanied by his attorney, turned himself in at the Wayne County Magistrate's Office, according to a Goldsboro Police Department press release.
He was placed in the Wayne County Jail to be held without bond awaiting a first appearance today in Wayne County court.
James D'Angelo Raye, 27, was developed first as a suspect in the Oct. 15 murder of Alton Leevon Fields Jr., inside a Devereaux Street residence at 1 a.m.
Raye was arrested Thursday, after which investigators issued two press releases -- one announcing his arrest and the other naming Clinton as a suspect.
