2004 -- Twenty-one 4th Fighter Wing F-15Es participate in a flyover for President Ronald Reagan's funeral.
2007 -- Former child star Barry Williams, who played Greg on "The Brady Bunch," gets a ride in a Seymour Johnson Air Force Base F-15E and is named an honorary member of the 335th Fighter Squadron.
2007 -- Twenty-one 4th Fighter Wing F-15Es participate in a flyover for President Gerald Ford's funeral.
2008 -- A 4th Fighter Wing F-15E responds to a troops-in-contact call coming from Afghanistan's Helmand province. The joint tactical air controller calling for help, "WIDOW 67," and his men are taking heavy fire and when the jet arrives, it silences the insurgents. It is later revealed that "WIDOW 67" is Britain's Prince Harry.
2011 -- 4th Fighter Wing F-15Es are called on to secure the airspace for NASA's final shuttle launch.
