Acting on a tip received Monday, the Goldsboro and Wayne County Interagency Drug Task Force arrested a Princeton pair Wednesday on charges in connection with the manufacture of methamphetamine.
In a joint investigation with the SBI, the Drug Task Force found sufficient evidence to charge John Christopher Hall, 38, and Andrea Strickland Patterson, 33, both of 335 Dave Howell Lane in Princeton, with possession and production of the street drug called "meth."
"They had enough of the materials for what would constitute a partial lab," said Maj. Tom Effler of the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.
Effler said most often meth labs are very portable and that this one had enough of the elements of a working operation to warrant the manufacturing charge.
Hall was charged with one count of manufacturing and is being held under a $250,000 secured bond.
Ms. Patterson faces the same charge but was also booked on one count of possession of methamphetamine and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond has been set at $150,000.
