Woman assaulted while intoxicated
Rachel Lewis, 24, of Goldsboro, reported that she was assaulted after leaving Gators Sports Pub, 1105 S. George St., early Sunday morning.
Ms. Lewis told Goldsboro police that the last thing she could remember was being at the bar near closing time and being in a vehicle with people she didn't know.
She later woke up, according to the police record, near the railroad track close to the Light House Food Mart at 902 Herman Place.
Upon awakening, Ms. Lewis reported seeing a man standing near her who asked her to come with him.
She reported that she was intoxicated and could not remember the events that took place.
She told officers that she woke with multiple bruises over her body, but did not remember being assaulted.
Dogs stolen
Deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff's Office are investigating the theft of three pit bulls from the home of Roger Dillard in the 200 block of Adams Road in Seven Springs.
Dillard reported finding the dogs missing from a pen on his property Saturday.
Taken were a three and one-half-year-old female, valued at $600; a five-month-old female, valued at $500; and a five-month-old male, valued at $500.
B&E and larcenies
*A vehicle reported stolen was found in the 100 block of Dupont Circle Sunday. The 2012 Dodge Charger, valued at $25,000, was discovered by Goldsboro police unattended and parked on the side of the road. The car was reported stolen by Perry Stewart, of Clinton, on March 28 to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office. The car was also reported stolen by Avis Rent-A-Car in Fayetteville on the same day to Fayetteville police.
*A red and silver moped was reported stolen Sunday by James Snyder from the front porch of his home in the 400 block of Frank Street. The vehicle was valued at $500.
*Jennifer Nedzweckas reported an air conditioner, valued at $1,500, as stolen Saturday or Sunday from behind her home located in the 1200 block of Cindy Circle.
*Hyeok Choi reported an air conditioner, valued at $200, was damaged while its copper components were stolen from Korean Presbyterian Church of Goldsboro, located at 158 Piedmont Airline Road, that occurred Sunday.
*Waffle House employee Brandi Edwards reported the theft of $100.03 from the eatery at 502 N. Berkeley Blvd. that occurred Sunday. According to the report, an unknown suspect removed the money from a cash register.
*Shanetta Atkins reported a 42-inch flat-screen TV was stolen from her home in the 1800 block of South Slocumb Street Friday. The TV was taken from a bedroom while the home was left unsecured.
*Tammy Rhodes reported the theft of 200 DVDs and two CD players from her home in the 100 block of South Ridge Drive in Dudley that occurred between Thursday and Sunday. Mrs. Rhodes told authorities she thinks entry was made through an unsecured window. The value of the stolen goods was more than $2,500.
*Timothy Wheeler reported the theft of an air conditioner, valued at $1,500, from his home in the 100 block of Nandian Place that occurred between early April and Sunday.
