Thefts
*Phillip Kastner reported the larceny of four copper down spouts, valued at $500, from his home in the 1100 block of Pine Street, which occurred between March 24 and Wednesday. The down spouts were cut from the home before being stolen.
*Berkeley Mall Radio Shack employee Stacey Griffin reported a man stole two Toshiba laptops, valued at $940, from the business Wednesday about 12 p.m. She stated to police the man told her that he was buying a gift for his wife and picked out the computers. When Ms. Griffin put the laptops on the store's counter. The man grabbed the machines and ran out of the mall and left in a purple car.
