It is time to stock up, because Girl Scout cookie booth sales will end this Saturday.

Terri Thompson, leader of Troop 95, said sales have been "pretty good" so far.

"I've done more booths this year," she said about her troop, made up of 26 Girl Scouts.

Girl Scouts have been selling the cookies every day except for Wednesday and Sunday nights, she said, and the Caramel deLites, formerly known as Samoas, are the No. 1 seller.

Cookie boxes are $3.50 each. Cookie booths are commonly located at Walmart, Kmart, Berkeley Mall and Andy's on N.C. 111, Ms. Thompson said.

"All of those central locations are supposed to still have them," Ms. Thompson said, adding that some even accept debit cards.

She said people need to stock up now. She already has her own cookie reserves set aside.

"They won't be back until next year," Ms. Thompson said. "Put them in the freezer."

After March 10, cookie seekers can call the Goldsboro Service Center at 734-6231 to hunt down troops that still have cookies left to sell.
