Mount Olive home invasion
Ronnie Flanagan reported an armed burglary of $600 that took place in his home, located in the 300 block of Kelly Springs Road in Mount Olive, Wednesday about 11 p.m.
Flanagan told authorities that he, another man and a woman were sitting at his kitchen table when they heard a strange noise from outside and then three men dressed in black and wearing ski masks entered the home.
The three suspects instructed the three victims to lie face down on the floor. Flanagan reported that a suspect struck him on the head with a firearm and demanded to know where the money was located. Flanagan told the suspects the money was in another room. One of the suspects then told the woman to, "Get up (expletive) and get the money."
The woman went to the other room to get the money while she was followed by one of the suspects. She handed over the money and was told to get back on the floor. The suspects then demanded that car keys be given to them, but keys were not handed over. The suspects then fled on foot into a wooded area, according to the report.
