Of all the calls made, 12 were assists Wayne County Emergency Medical Services, 12 were vehicle accidents, six were false alarms and six were electrical problems.
The department responded to a single building fire at a duplex at 416 Lime Street on Dec. 10.
The call was made around 8:15 p.m. by station three, located at Patetown Road. The response time was three minutes and 10 seconds, according to the report.
The fire was only in one of the two apartments, and the only person in the building at the time of the fire was a man in the apartment where the fire was not, although the second apartment received smoke damage. The man made it out of the building unharmed.
A resident of the apartment where the fire was located had left a candle burning while she went down the street to visit a friend, according to the report. There had been some electrical issues in the building in the preceding weeks, but firefighters deemed the probable cause to be the unattended candle. The estimated damage to the home was $25,000.
