Hailey Best wins Miss North Carolina Pageant

Hailey Best of Goldsboro, Miss Durham, was crowned Miss North Carolina on Saturday night. Ms. Best, 20, is the daughter of Michael and Kim Best and a sophomore at Meredith College. She is a former student at Eastern Wayne High School and a graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts. The win earns her a spot in the Miss America Pageant to be held in Las Vegas. She won the talent competition on Wednesday evening.
