The annual cotillion Saturday evening for fourth-graders at Dillard Academy charter school began with a receiving line of parents and families. Earlier in the day, students also attended a formal luncheon at Goldsboro Country Club. The cotillion represented weeks of rehearsals following the end-of-grade testing at the school. They practiced afternoons after school and on Saturdays to prepare for the celebration, which also featured entertainment, a fashion show and a formal dance with staff, students and parents.
