The tax deadline cometh

Taxpayers wrap up year-end bills while paying taxes at the Wayne County Courthouse. Last-minute taxpayers found themselves in a line that stretched out the doors and into the atrium of the building Thursday. Property taxes are due Wednesday at 5 p.m., or penalties will apply.
