Adamsville Baptist Church members, from left, Beverly Cannon, Edith Colmore and Lindsey Cannon pack shoeboxes with toys and personal hygiene items Sunday afternoon as part of the local drive for Operation Christmas Child. The church served again this year as the lead dropoff point for the local churches and other groups and individuals who created the gift boxes to be sent overseas to needy children around the world. First Baptist Church of Mount Olive served as a relay station. The final chance to drop off a box for shipment was Monday.
