Armed robbery
Christy Renee Lopez, 32, Wharton Lane, told Goldsboro police she was robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of a convenience store on N.C. 111 South. Taken were $280 in cash, $200 worth of jewelry and a purse valued at $10.
Homes shot
*Someone fired a weapon into the occupied home of Edsel Lofton, 51, North Alabama Street. Damages totaled $327 to a window, blind and curtains, according to Goldsboro police.
*Susan Glenton Smith, 55, Evergreen Avenue said someone shot a double-pane sliding glass door at her home with a BB rifle, according to Goldsboro police. Damages totaled $1,500.
Thefts
Evelio Velasouez-Sanchez, 28, Burke Street, Dudley, reported to Wayne County Sheriff's deputies the theft of a red scooter valued at $2,250.
A thief or thieves made off with more than $9,000 worth of property following a break-in at the home of Eric John Holtz. 35, Arrington Bridge Road, according to Wayne County Sheriff's deputies. Items taken included two 50-inch televisions valued at $3,200 and $1,800 respectively and 30 video games valued at $1,800.
