Info sessions set for nurse aide classes

The registration process for the nurse aide program at Wayne Community College, including a free information session, will be held next month.
Sessions for Nurse Aide I and II applicants will be held every half hour, from 4-6 p.m. on June 14; 10 a.m. until noon on June 15; 4-6 p.m. June 16; and 10 a.m. until noon on June 17. Applicants must attend an entire session to obtain registration paperwork. Sessions will be held in Room 101 of the Walnut Building.
Course registration for those who have attended one of the mandatory sessions will be June 23-30 or until all seats are filled.
Four opportunities will be offered for the Nurse Aide I program: Monday through Thursdays, Aug. 16-Dec. 2, 5:30-8:30 p.m.; Monday-Thursday, Aug. 23-Dec. 9, 5:30-8:30 p.m.; A day hybrid, combination of classroom and online, Monday-Thursday, Aug. 16-Nov. 23; and weekend hybrid, Saturdays from Aug. 21-Dec. 18.
Nurse Aide II will be taught Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-8:30 p.m., with clinical practice on Saturdays, Aug. 24-Dec. 16.
