Junior Miss Program looking for constestants

The Wayne County Junior Miss Program is looking for high school senior girls to participate in a new scholarship opportunity.
Wayne County Junior Miss is part of a nationwide endeavor to honor and reward the nation's outstanding young women for their accomplishments.
There is no entry fee, and the event is open to any young woman graduating from high school in the spring of 2010 that legally resides in Wayne County.
Junior Miss emphasizes excellence in five categories of competition: scholastics, talent, interview, fitness and self-expression.
Girls interested in participating in the Wayne County Junior Miss program should attend the informational meeting which will be held July 11 at 10:30 am at the Comfort Suites at 2613 North Park Drive in Goldsboro.

Wayne County Junior Miss program is an official preliminary of the America's Junior Miss nationwide scholarship program. The young woman chosen to be Wayne County Junior Miss for 2010 will go on to compete in the North Carolina Junior Miss program in February 2010.
The North Carolina Junior Miss program awards cash scholarships as well as tuition scholarships throughout the state.

The 52nd annual America's Junior Miss National Finals will be held in Mobile, Ala. in June 2010.
