Applications are now being accepted for the title of Ms. Wheelchair North Carolina, USA.
The winner will represent North Carolina in July, competing against 50 other state representatives for the national title of Ms. Wheelchair USA.
The Ms. Wheelchair USA program is dedicated to celebrating the abilities and successful accomplishments of women with disabilities.
To qualify, contestants must be women, ages 18 and older by July 30. There is no "ge limit in this competition!.
Contestants must utilize a wheelchair as their main source of mobility however; this program does not exclude women who may be able to utilize their legs.
Contestants must be residents or students in North Carolina for at least two months, may be married, single, or divorced. Contestants may have children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, or no children.
The winner of the Ms. North Carolina title will receive an official MWUSA crown, banner, and qualify for the live competition and show in July in Cleveland, Ohio.
The state competition fee is $250. Deadline to enter is May 5.
