The Wayne County Sheriff's Office arrested a man Thursday who allegedly took part in a home invasion and armed robbery that occurred Saturday at a Drummersville Road home, Sheriff's Capt. Tom Effler said today.
Three men forced their way into a residence and tied up two women and a man, the Sheriff's Office captain said.
Detectives received information that one of the suspects might live in Wallace, and found him at his Wallace home.
Moises Morales Rodas, 26, of Pine Street, was jailed under $100,000 bond.
The Sheriff's Office is still looking for the two other suspects, both of whom were loosely identified as Hispanic males.
"We've got some leads on the other (suspects.) I don't know if we've completely identified (them)," Effler said.
The suspects also face first-degree kidnapping charges, for tying up their victims with plastic wire.
After authorities responded to the scene, they learned the suspects headed in the direction of Duplin County from Drummersville Road, which is not far from the Cliffs of the Neuse State Park.
The Sheriff's Office is looking for any information about the other two suspects, he said.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 735-2255, or the Sheriff's Office, at 731-1481.
