A Goldsboro woman shot while sitting in the driver's seat of her car outside her home Tuesday night has died.
Barbara Bandy was reportedly shot "multiple times" on Tuesday night, and police are seeking John Oscar Mumford of Whitted Court and Dwayne Jackson of North Leslie Street on one open count each of murder, authorities said.
She died Thursday Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville, authorities said.
The two men previously had had active warrants for Ms. Bandy's attempted murder. During the incident, Ms. Bandy's home was also fired upon, and three men were inside.
Goldsboro police said they believe the murder happened over a "disagreement amongst acquaintances."
