Tuscarora Council honored by BSA

The Tuscarora Council, Boy Scouts of America received the 2008 Centennial Quality Council Award from the national office of the Boy Scouts of America.
The award is designed to recognize groups for outstanding achievement in providing quality Scouting programs for youth of all ages. In order to receive the award, the council had to meet 10 areas of achievement including increasing membership, operating within a balanced budget, increasing volunteer leadership and securing new financial gifts. All three of the council's districts earned the Centennial Quality District Award as well.
