Alberston fox hunt Feb. 21

ALBERTSON -- The 24th annual Washington's Day Fox Hunt and Field Trials for fox and deer dogs will be held Saturday, Feb. 21, at the Albertson Ruritan Community Building on N.C. 111 in the northern Duplin County community.
The days events start early, with breakfast at 5 a.m., a memorial service at 6 a.m. and a lunch of barbecue chicken and pork and fish stew from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The event is sponsored annually by the Albertson Ruritan Club, with proceeds benefiting the club, the Albertson Volunteer Fire Department and the Albertson community Recreation Center.
