Three arrested on Onslow conspiracy charges
Shakandice Sample, 19, of LeJeune Boulevard, Kevin Dion Ladaker Jr., 19, and Leshawn Tyrell Sample, 17, of Central Heights Road, face felony-level conspiracy charges and breaking and entering, and are being held on warrants issued Sept. 9 and 25 by the Onslow County Sheriff's Office, according to Goldsboro arrest reports. Ms. Sample is also charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, according to the report. Capt. Rick Southerland, the spokesman for the Onslow County Sheriff's Office, refused to provide any information about the case until the county's own warrants had been served or when one of the suspects is incarcerated in Onslow County.
Thieves steal car parts
Thieves stole 44 catalytic converters worth about ,500 from Young's Auto Salvage on U.S. 117 Alternate in Dudley, according to a Sheriff's Office report. The catalytic converters are an increasingly popular target for scrapping thieves because of a recently increased value, authorities say.
