Braswell receives Old North State Award

Wayne County Senior Resident Superior Court Judge Jerry Braswell has received the Governor's Old North State Award.
Braswell, a graduate of the University of North Carolina Law School, is a former Wayne County commissioner, member of the state House of Representatives and Navy judge advocate general.
The Old North State Award, established by Gov. Mike Easley, is presented to outstanding North Carolinians who have a proven record of exemplary service and commitment to the state and their community.
