Bentonville re-enactment

FOUR OAKS -- Civil War re-enactors will discuss life in the field during Bentonville Battlefield State Historic Site's summer living history program Saturday, Aug. 23, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m..
Members of the 27th Regiment of N.C. State Troops will present demonstrations and give talks. The program is designed to allow visitors to interact with the costumed re-enactors on a more personal level than during a conventional re-enactment.
At 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., muskets will be fire and at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 and 3:30 p.m., artillery demonstrations will be held.
