The Wayne County Museum will host a free children's event featuring fossils and a live iguana Friday night.
The presentation will begin at 7 p.m. upstairs in the museum, which is located at 116 N. William St. The presentation by Marvin E. Underwood, known as "the fossil man," will engage the children to participate with hands-on activities. Then children will be allowed to roam the exhibit afterwards and meet Baby, the museum manager's 10-year-old iguana. Museum Manager Johnna Nelson said Baby is a descendant of the dinosaur.
