Courteous thief
Frances Irene Forshey, 55, of Ridge Drive was the victim of financial transaction fraud.
She told police she left her debit card in an ATM at the N.C. Community Federal Credit Union after making a transaction.
According to police, a black male approached the ATM after Ms. Forshey left and attempted to withdrawn $300 but was able to withdraw only $100.
He then placed the card in an envelope and carried it inside the bank to turn it in.
Money taken
Salena Lee, 31, of Hines Drive Lot 25 reported the theft of $2,400 in cash.
Ms. Lee said she dropped an envelope with the money in it as she was getting out of her vehicle. A man picked it up, but refused to return it, she told investigators.
TVs, PlayStation 3 taken
Obravia Freeman, 32, of Linwood Avenue Apt. D reported the theft of two 32-inch LCD TVs valued at $1,200 and a PlayStation 3 valued at $499.
Entry was gained by breaking out the glass in a back door. Damages totaled $125 to the door.
