6.4 pounds of cocaine seized in LaGrange

The Goldsboro- Wayne County Drug Squad said it seized 6.4 pounds of cocaine, weapons, a bullet-proof vest and cash from a LaGrange home on Wednesday.
A Drug Squad news release lists two men who face charges in that raid in the 100 block of Leaning Post Lane, LaGrange.
Adelaido Campos, 42, of Leaning Post Lane, and Efrain Renteria-Gomez, 26, address not listed, were both charged with trafficking in cocaine by possession of more than 400 grams, officials said.
Other items seized included a Russian SKS 7.62X39mm semi-automatic rifle, a 9mm pistol, a bullet-proof vest and $1,176 in cash.
Both were jailed under $1 million bond.
Also arrested this week were a man and a women after a raid on North George Street on Tuesday, Drug Squad officials said.
Timothy E. Cox, North George Street, was charged with trafficking in an opiate by possessing it, possession of cocaine with intent to sell or deliver, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and maintaining a dwelling for controlled drugs.
Also charged in the raid was Aleasha Danielle Hocutt, 26, North Virginia Street, with trafficking an opiate by possession and possession of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver, authorities said in the release.
Ms. Hocutt was jailed under $50,000 bond by a Wayne County magistrate.
