Business women to meet Thursday

The Wayne-Duplin Business and Professional Women's Club willl hold its annual meeting Thursday at 6:15 p.m. at the Pizza Village in Mount Olive.
Dr. Sandra McCullen, Associate Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction for Wayne County Schools and a candidate for Wayne County Commissioner-at-large will speak.
Committee chairmen will present reports on the activities for the past year.
Officers for the 2008-2009 year will be elected.
The nomination committee will present the following slate of candidates: president, Gail Harper: president elect, Sandra Torrans: vice president, Sonya O'Brien: recording secretary, Marjorie Connor; corresponding secretary, Lib Brannon; treasurer, Christina Faucette; and assistant treasurer, Betty Warren.
