I.R.S. Special Agent and public information officer Nancy Hatfield said that agents of the Internal Revenue Service were present, not involved in an investigation, during raids of Murphy's Place in Mount Olive. The agent said she did not confirm that any type of investigation was taking place, but that I.R.S. agents were there "on official business."
