Agricultural expo Nov. 19-20 at WCC

An agricultural exposition, sponsored by the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, the state Cooperative Extension Service, the Karl Best Agricultural Awareness Committee and Wayne Community College, will be held Nov. 19-20 at the college.
The expo starts at 10 a.m. and lasts until 2 p.m. each day and will feature speakers on a wide variety of agriculture-related topics.
Wayne has been recognized as the 5th best farming county in the United States and farming is a key component of the area's economy. Agriculture and business related to agriculture generate more than $68 billion a year in North Carolina.
