Wayne Community College is accepting applications for its online teacher education program in the bachelor's degree cohort in special education.
Applications for the East Carolina University Wachovia Partnership East Virtual Consortium are due by Oct. 1 for the session scheduled to begin in January 2008. They can be obtained by contacting Dr. Debbie Grady, hub site coordinator for the South Central Consortium. Her WCC office is located in Room 102 of the Dogwood Building, or she can contacted by e-mail at [email protected] or 735-5152, ext. 385.
A cohort in middle grades education with English and science concentrations will begin next May, with applications due by Jan. 1.
The Virtual Consortium program enables students to complete their general education coursework at Wayne Community or one of the other partnering community colleges and then transfer into the ECU program to complete their junior and senior years online with a few annual face-to-face sessions.
