Jennings named MOC events coordinator

MOUNT OLIVE -- Mount Olive College has created a position to handling scheduling its growing list of activities.
Sherry Jennings of Connecticut was recently hired to serve as event services coordinator, college officials announced.
With the college booking an estimated 700 events each year -- including reunions, weddings conferences, summer camps, recitals, and concerts -- as well as the anticipated three new buildings on campus in the future, the need is expected to grow even more, said Rhonda Jessup, director of public affairs.
Ms. Jennings holds a bachelor's degree in liberal studies from Southern Connecticut State University and has experience at Yale University, where she managed event services for eight years.
She will be part of the Institutional Advancement Team at the college, Ms. Jessup said.
