Thirty-two down and one more to go.
That's what Goldsboro-Wayne County Drug Squad Co-Commander Lt. Tom Effler said Monday as he announced the latest arrest made in connection with a drug roundup conducted Sept. 27. Paul Anthony Stover, 25, of Theo Drive, was arrested Feb. 2 for possession with intent to sell and deliver controlled substances and sale of counterfeit controlled substances.
The operation has resulted in warrants on 33 suspects with a total of 135 felony charges. Thirty-two people have been arrested in connection with the 10-month probe.
Michael Carl Collier, the final alleged offender sought, remains at-large. Collier was last known to be in the Rocky Mount and Wilson area. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 735-2255.
