Drug arrest made

KINSTON -- Lenoir County law enforcment officers have charged a Goldsboro man after a nine-month undercover drug investigation.
Charles Deangelo Tolbert Jr., 26, was charged with trafficking in cocaine. He was placed under a $10,000 bond.
Detective Shawn Howard of the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office, said undercover officers bought more than two ounces of cocaine from Tolbert, leading to his arrest Dec. 13.
The Lenoir County and Greene County sheriff's offices, the LaGrange Police Department and the state Bureau of Investigation assisted with the investigation.
A hearing has been set for Jan. 3, Lenoir County officials said.
