Shirley Bynum, a employee at Goldsboro High School, told Goldsboro police that someone stole her Black IBM laptop, valued at $900, from her classroom. The theft occurred sometime between 2:45 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday. Ms. Bynum told police that the computer was left in an unsecured classroom.
Accident
Donald Cecil Sutton, 43, of E. James St., LaGrange, was injured in a one-vehicle crash when he lost control of his motorcycle while negotiating a curve on Oak Forest Road near Gateway Drive Wednesday night. Sutton crashed into a sign and was thrown from the bike during the accident. He was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital for treatment, where he was listed in good condition. Sutton was cited by law enforcement officers for careless and reckless driving.
