Rogers to lead research program

Brig. Gen. Dr. Steven K. Rogers, the son of Col. and Mrs Ray J. Rogers of Goldsboro, has been appointed senior scien-tist for the Automatic Target Re-cognition and Sensor Fusion for the Air Force Research Laboratory, Air Force Material Command at Wright-Pat-terson Air Force Base in Ohio.
He was fomerly the founder, president, CEO, and chief scientist for Qualia Computing of Beavercreek, Ohio, a company that invented and commercialized a revolutionary breast cancer detection product.
In his new position he will be the principal Air Force scientific authority for the areas of sensor exploitation and fusion.
